I paint because it is the only place where I can loose myself.
And the wonderful thing about art is, that I don't have to argue why you should like it. It is entirely up to you. Either you love it - or you move on and find the art thats right for you.
I paint what I see in and around me. The eyes are often covered, because there are so many things we don't (want to) see.
It also gives the viewer a chance to give the painting their own imagined identity.
